Mada is an emerging painter based in the NYC area. With a degree in Animation and Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Hong Kong, she has honed her skills in both traditional and digital mediums.
As a young artist, Mada draws heavy influence from anime,video games, and street fashion, elements that shine through in the expressive and cartoony style of her work. Her art is a journey of self exploration, particularly in understanding her identity as a woman and as an individual. Having hidden away many emotions growing up, Mada is now embracing the opportunity to feel and express them.
Through painting, she is relearning her identity and getting to know herself. Despite the vulnerability that comes with this process, she maintains a light hearted approach by using vivid colors and catchy phrases. Mada's work is a vibrant testament to her evolving self discovery and emotional expression.
